summary Cities are invaded by a variety of synthetic representations, as they can be explorer or virtually visited by the omnipresent Google Earth, as well as interactive maps, digital reconstructions, photographed ours or panoramas, RT cameras, etc. Furthermore, they can be hosted at websites complemented by multimedia, which allow, with little time and effort, have a preview that conditions us before the in situ experience of the real places. Besides the general use that can be made of these powerful media, we consider the potential influence that they cause in the disciplines that are involved with the urban space.

summary One of the challenges faced by design disciplines is how to activate the imagination, motivate and engage students and professors in significant and heuristic learning processes, integrating educative and design technologies in relation to a new epistemological, aesthetic and technical paradigm. A didactic proposal, that encourage a ludic and creative experience of collaborative construction of knowledge, is created starting from the task to imagine, design and build worlds. This article describes the basis, objectives, characteristics and results of the experience carried out in the 2013 Digital Graphics Studio, issued for Architecture and Visual Design students in a public Argentinian University.

title A personal space in the Web. Bases, processes and evaluation of a collaborative digital design experience for significant learning
source International Journal of Architectural Computing vol. 15 - no. 3, 230-245
summary We live constantly networked, performing multiple activities in virtual spaces which are intertwined with physical space, shaping an augmented and symbiotic chronotope. Considering that personal space is an area surrounding individuals that provides a framework for developing activities wouldn’t it be necessary to count on a virtual personal space? This article presents the bases, processes, and results of a didactic experience which purpose was to imagine and design a personal space in the Web, representing its properties and characteristics through a transmedia narrative unfolded through diverse languages and media. Three cases are presented, selected because they propose different strategies to approach the problem. In order to perform a comparative analysis of the results, the categories were defined based on the triadic structure of Peirce’s Theory of Signs, which in turn were divided into sub-categories that incorporate the Principles of Design and Evaluation of Interface-Spaces.

title Transversal design workshop: uncentering the digital
source SIGraDi 2005 - [Proceedings of the 9th Iberoamerican Congress of Digital Graphics] Lima - Peru 21-24 november 2005, vol. 1, pp. 275-279
summary The transversal design implies to explore “rizomatic” ways to enter upon the design process, nourishing itself of different artistic expressions, not only to stimulate and unlash the heuristic process, but to found the project´s decisions. In this workshop we encourage the students to understand creative processes from an integrative scope, combining different methods of plastic experimentation, enhanced from digital environment, and different design scales; using digital media as the tool of production and communication. This is an interdisciplinary workshop since it was led by architects, an actress and a literature professor; and it was directed to architecture and visual communication design students. The experience was very exciting, mainly for the students, they responded with enthusiasm to the professors´ proposals. The relationship between teachers was founded in the fact of sharing conceptual basis and pedagogical objectives, and the respect of particular concerns. Interdisciplinary work opens rich possibilities of interchange, knowledge and intellectual growing. [Full paper in Spanish]

title Mediaciones Distópicas. Artefactos, interfaces y representaciones para una cultura postdisciplinaria de diseño y arte. [Dystopic Mediation. Artifacts, interfaces and representations for a postdisciplinary culture of design and art.]
source SIGraDi 2017 [Proceedings of the 21th Conference of the Iberoamerican Society of Digital Graphics - ISBN: 978-956-227-439-5] Chile, Concepción 22 - 24 November 2017, pp.674-682
summary Do art and design currently have the capacity to motivate reflection on conflicts, inadequacies or contradictions that characterize our society? Simulation, inmateriality, interactivity, virtuality, simultaneity, multidimensionality, interdisciplinarity, are some of the characteristics in which a post-disciplinary culture in art is expressed. This article presents the bases, processes and results of a transversal experience between teaching, research and social extension, which purpose was to explore the capacity of art to investigate and communicate the limitations and potentialities presented by the complex current reality, through the organization of strategies of interdisciplinary collaboration between art, design, architecture and technology.
