summary An architectural project is designed in weeks or months—sometimes in places far from the construction site—and is built in years. The challenge of design is more than creating a three - dimensional digital (3D) model that includes all available information; visualization and communication throughout the entire process is crucial due to the global nature of contemporary architectural practice. This study asks: What tool would satisfy this need for communication? The objective of this paper is to explore these issues and propose an answer to this query based on flexible management to solve them.

The confrontation to new methodologies, as part of a creative education, helps significantly to brain plasticity.

summary The great impulse in the development of visual means (multimedia) achieved in the last years, demands from us a review of our basic visual capabilities and the necessity to continue developing a methodology for teaching and learning. The advances in technology have radically changed the forms and the functions of the visual component of expression and communication: the image. The aim of this work is to explore the expressive potential of images manipulating their formal components through digital techniques to interpret and/or to re-interpret into architectural object. For this purpose it is suggested a possible procedure to practice and develop the architectural imagination based on the diversity and structural differentiation of shape, starting from the image.

summary From the conception of an architectonic object idea to the communication we can say the idea travels a long way. During this journey strategies are proposed to integrate and combine communication codes to digital and traditional resources to achieve a presentation that brings the major possible information of the occurrences that happen at the moment of the conception of the idea. For this purpose the "point-and-click interface" or "mouse driven slide show" are explored as they are considered optimum in the relation available technology-result obtained. However, the subsequent tasks of edition and data management with a lot of images are hard.

summary This work deals with three artistic works of authorial photography where- through an unusual photographic record- the attempt was made to see what was already seen (or not seen) through experience. Captured through a photoscanning process, each one of these works takes into an exhibition space a 1:1 printed image. This transformation of the phenomenological experience of seeing (observer´s perspective) into a planimetric kind of image (frontal view) entails the confection of a picture "infografically". A process by means of which, it is argued, the picture can aspire to remain in the retina of society.
