title Hábitat lagunar, territorio de la complejidad: creación ancestral, diseño y construcción, una aproximación desde la cultura y cosmogonía añú [Lagoon habitat, territory of complexity ancestral creation, design and construction, an approach from the culture and cosmology añú]
source SiGraDi 2014 [Proceedings of the 18th Conference of the Iberoamerican Society of Digital Graphics - ISBN: 978-9974-99-655-7] Uruguay - Montevideo 12 - 14 November 2014, pp. 540-543
summary The añú community lives in Laguna Sinamaica territory of complexity building their habitat in wooden stilts houses, based on culture and añú cosmogony. A rural-urban intervention is done without understanding the conceptualization and development. This paper presents a methodology for analyzing the lagoon habitat, premises in the creative process, design and construction for future interventions, and a reflection on the use of criteria for urban and architectural design in modern water villages. This work is part of research “Peoples Water in Lake of Maracaibo Basin: History and Habitat”.

summary This paper states a theoretical-conceptual proposal about recording, processing and visualization of the components about the complex territory "Laguna de Sinamaica" and its stilt-house añú habitat in Zulia state. Digital technologies will collaborate in planning and designing the reconstruction of territory’s temporary scenery in future interventions. Strategies for creativity, interactivity and communication in the design process and in reading comprehension of technical discourse of software in English are stated. Theoretical and methodological perspectives are applied in order to approach the study. Results: conceptualization and characterization of territory, habitat and housing; systematization of data and information of lake system.

title Desde La Computacion Grafica a los Sistemas CAD Actuales. Una Vision Historica de la Revolucion Producida en los Sistemas de Representacion Grafica (1966-1998) (From Graphical Computation to Present CAD Systems. An Historical Vision of the Revolution Produced in the Systems of Graphical Representation (1966-1998))

summary Throughout these pages are made known the persons, the projects and the books that have influenced my actions and that they will be mentioned in form underlined in this paper. I have to emphasize that since 1965 to 1970, and in the continuous search that I was accomplishing to find data and bibliography adapted to the topic of computer graphics, only two series of publications contained topics related to this matter at that time: one was the IBM Journal and the other series was the communications of the ACM. The purpose of this work is to make known an experience accomplished throughout 30 years of intense activity in finding new methods of drawing and design, based on the use of digital computers, mainly in Argentina, and during certain periods of time in Great Britain and since 1971 during short visits to the United States and also in France. The first idea emerged in the year 1965 when I was assistant teacher at the School of Architecture of the University of Buenos Aires, as a combination of ideas between the concepts of spatial geometry and the current morphological studies that we taught in the Course of professor Gaston Breyer. However the idea of automatic drawing emerged observing the operation of the first scientific digital computer installed in the Computing Institute of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires in 1963 (Sadosky 1963). At the beginning, the approach to the computer were not accomplished from a strictly scientific point of view, but it was implying a kind of "sincresis" (Koheler 1940) it is more than a synthesis, because I was tried to combine ideas that have had its origin in different worlds of thinking, the analogous world and the digital world, and this situation was very difficult to accept at that time. The designing procedures in the decade 1960's was deeply rooted (and still continues) in the architectural design field as a result of a drawing process based in heuristic techniques.

summary This paper proposes the analysis of the interaction between artists and scientists (sci-art) through the experience of co-production and the role of technology in the process of creation from multiple perspectives, taking as an object of study the representation of submicroscopic phenomena at the molecular scale of life. This paper is centered in the experience of creation of the work named Introversión Dogmática (“Dogmatic Introversion”), but other subjects related to the theoretical framework are also mentioned.

summary We recognize creative and innovative actions in interventions from Product’s Industrial Design, from the entire perspective of Design Thinking and interacting in post digital interconnected environments. Following this framework, we present teaching practices trying to adhere to disruptive didactic practices. Specifically, we have made redesign and design __interventions linking 3D models, graphics supports and prototyping. In this task, addressing working methods of solving the projective workshop’s own problems, we had used applications of 3D NURBs modelers and meshes, hyperrealists renders and image processing. The teaching experience results, with creative responses from student’s collaborative actions, have invited to established and solved unique problems in innovative ways. We consider to have developed a fruitful and meaningful experience.

title Ejercicios de arte fotográfico, desde una perspectiva arquitectónica: una ecología de la imagen digital [Photographic exercises from an architectonic perspective: an ecology of the digital image]
source SIGraDi 2011 [Proceedings of the 15th Iberoamerican Congress of Digital Graphics] Argentina - Santa Fe 16-18 November 2011, pp. 277-280
summary This work deals with three artistic works of authorial photography where- through an unusual photographic record- the attempt was made to see what was already seen (or not seen) through experience. Captured through a photoscanning process, each one of these works takes into an exhibition space a 1:1 printed image. This transformation of the phenomenological experience of seeing (observer´s perspective) into a planimetric kind of image (frontal view) entails the confection of a picture "infografically". A process by means of which, it is argued, the picture can aspire to remain in the retina of society.
