source SiGraDi 2014 [Proceedings of the 18th Conference of the Iberoamerican Society of Digital Graphics - ISBN: 978-9974-99-655-7] Uruguay - Montevideo 12 - 14 November 2014, pp. 604-608
summary This paper discusses the process of production of the prototype of R.I.C.A. source SIGraDi 2011 [Proceedings of the 15th Iberoamerican Congress of Digital Graphics] Argentina - Santa Fe 16-18 November 2011, pp. 419-423
summary The document highlights the results attain in the integration of analog and digital resources for updating the learning workshop of architectural project. The importance of this development is manifested as an achievement, considering the diversity of elements involved in methodological convergence, which combines abstract algorithms with sensory experiences and promoting the transformation of the physical setting of the workshop in an analog-digital environment, which extends significantly the horizons of the experiment carried out by the students. The text also outlines the theoretical foundations, the tools used, the procedures, the stages and a conclusion as a provisional assessment of the results.

summary This research is the summing up of an investigation carried out within the frame of a undergraduated architectural seminary at Facultad de Arquitectura y Urbanismo de la Universidad de Chile. During one semester, the research focused on finding the most relevant and recognizable features related with the globalization phenomena and the new technologies of communication that are taking place in the city. Inquiring new types of relationships which might be generating between citizens and their territory is the main achievement. title Desmaterialización [Demateralization]
source SIGraDi 2004 - [Proceedings of the 8th Iberoamerican Congress of Digital Graphics] Porte Alegre - Brasil 10-12 november 2004
summary Design is a discipline which not only generates material realities but also fulfils a communicative function. It creates something new as well as makes objects visible and intelligible and facilitates the communication process through the messages these new objects contains. The incorporation of new technologies has generated the dematerialization of high technological developed objects, understanding this concept as the lose of the value they have. Because of the miniaturization, their materiality cost is lower in contraposition to the big technological load they have, producing new communication criteria between these objects and the user. The general objective of this investigation is to decipher the language used by these new objects to communicate and understand the reading of a great quantity of information through a decreasing materiality.
