How Many Ways Can You Draw a Circle?

This is a first in a series of columns on computer graphics. In this column the author discusses the different algorithms one can find for drawing circles. The algorithms collection can be categorized by the two types of output: line endpoints or pixel coordinates. This comes from the general dichotomy of curve representation - parametric vs. algebraic. The language used is a mishmash of several programming constructs
