Iteration Design: Technology of Reductive Strategy
Approaches to Computer Aided Architectural Composition [ISBN 83-905377-1-0] 1996, pp. 215-223
In the technical designing are discerned two general strategies, deductive and reductive ones. The reductive strategy is in particular suitable for an architectural designing. These strategies were used in a form of sequential-cyclic design method, which is characterized by too much of a time loss. The CAD enables to use the reductive strategy (which is adequate to architecture) in the form of iteration design method. This method places the designer and the occupant as the independent partners in the iteration game; this is fast and economical method.
