title Types of Parametric Modelling
source Emerging Experience in Past, Present and Future of Digital Architecture, Proceedings of the 20th International Conference of the Association for Computer-Aided Architectural Design Research in Asia (CAADRIA 2015) / Daegu 20-22 May 2015, pp. 157-166
summary Parametric modelling is a term widely used to describe a range of modelling approaches. This paper proposes a taxonomy that distinguishes types of parametric modelling in the way they support iteration. A generalized parametric model is described and used as an analytical device to investigate how different parametric modelling methods provide for iteration over list structures.
