Abstract Architectural design is confronted to a renewal of formal vocabulary regarding the advancements on computational techniques. Non-standard architecture demands a hybrid approach regarding design and construction. It revives common borders between architectural and technical design. However, the respective digital assistance is confronted to discontinuity. This paper reports on part of a research activity aiming at elaborating a sharable model which by integrating construction knowledge assists the emergence of constructible geometry for timber construction. |
