title EL WEB SITE DE LA UNIVERSIDAD DE BUENOS AIRES: IMAGEN INSTITUCIONAL, DISEÑO E IMPLEMENTACIÓN. (The Web Site of the University of Buenos Aires: Institutional Image, Design and Implementation)
source SIGraDi biobio2001 - [Proceedings of the 5th Iberoamerican Congress of Digital Graphics / ISBN 956-7813-12-4] Concepcion (Chile) 21-23 november 2001, pp. 127-130
summary The present work constitutes a description of the design and implementation process for the new University of Buenos Aires’s Internet Website. The developed stages and the establishment of the institutional subjects generated a system able to support the growth of a variable information structure. Our intention was to complement two instances: to represent the University like an institution and to incorporate services for the user. The dialogue between the two instances generated an architecture of information with an almost fixed content and another one totally variable, that allows the natural growth of the thematics and opens the doors towards the self-manage of content.

title TITULACIÓN COMO ARQUITECTO EN EL MARCO DEL DISEÑO DE AMBIENTES VIRTUALES (Obtaining a Degree as Architect within the Framework of Virtual Environments Design)
source SIGraDi biobio2001 - [Proceedings of the 5th Iberoamerican Congress of Digital Graphics / ISBN 956-7813-12-4] Concepcion (Chile) 21-23 november 2001, pp. 159-161
summary In this paper I define my aproach to what a Degree Project in Architecture is, and study different ways of working in degree projects in the area of Computer Applications to Architecture. A brief study on the different approaches that may be used for this project is done, as good as defining the neccesary basis for implementing such Degree Project in the field of Virtual Buildings Desing in one of its many variations. I also explain one expirience in progress with a group of students who are working in their Degree Project in this area, in a completely experimental way.

title El diseño de mundos virtuales como proyecto de titulacion de pregrado en arquitectura. [Virtual Design as a Degree Project in Architecture]
source 2da Conferencia Venezolana sobre Aplicación de Computadores en Arquitectura, Maracaibo (Venezuela) december 2001, pp. 166-173
summary In this paper our approach to what we think about a Degree Project in Architecture is defined, and a study of different ways of doing such degree projects in the area of Computer Applications to Architecture is done. We also set the neccesary basis for implementing such Degree Project in the field of Virtual Buildings Desing in one of its many variations. One expirience in progress with a group of students who are doing their Degree Project in this area, in a completely experimental way, is also explained. We finish with our conclusions on the subject.

title EL ANÁLISIS DE LAS FORMAS DE LA ARQUITECTURA A PARTIR DE LA GENERACIÓN DIGITAL DE SUPERFICIES. RONCHAMP (The Analysis of Architectural Forms with departure on the Digital Generation of Surfaces. Ronchamp)
source SIGraDi biobio2001 - [Proceedings of the 5th Iberoamerican Congress of Digital Graphics / ISBN 956-7813-12-4] Concepcion (Chile) 21-23 november 2001, pp. 295-298
summary Continuing with our research in free-form surface models, this paper proposes a methodology that analyzes the basic entities of architectural forms to generate virtual models with a high range of accuracy. We use NURBS technology because this kind of entities has very large characteristics of generation, transformation and modification in front of mesh’s entities. The complexity of free form models generation it can be reduced substantially, if an accurate analysis of the object allows define its basic entities. In the architectural surface generation, it is possible to define the required parameters to build complex models designed by architects. An experience with the three-dimensional modeling of Ronchamp chapel roof allows applies the proposed methodology.

title El proceso de Diseño y la representación digital de la arquitectura (The design process and the digital representation of architecture)
source SIGraDi 2003 - [Proceedings of the 7th Iberoamerican Congress of Digital Graphics] Rosario Argentina 5-7 november 2003
summary The following is a paper about a pseudoexperiment realized by the profesor in architectonic design, Ma. Estela Sánchez Cavazos with the tutory of the doctor in architecture, Adolfo Benito Narváez Tijerina in the Autonomy University of Nuevo León México, applied to students in architecture masters, with the finality of finding elements that permit to describe and interpret the transformations in the architectonic design process with the intoduction of digital representation. All of this is inside the studies that the professor is actually realizing in the Central University of Venezuela with the guidance of Dr. Isaac Abadí Abbo. Pseudoexperiment, action research in this case with a descriptive and interpretative approach (Maritza Barrios Yaselli, 2001, p.6). architectonic design process, Secuential whole of phases and activities of creating work to solve a design problem speeking in cronological form bat interactive in conceptual form.
