source SIGraDi 2012 [Proceedings of the 16th Iberoamerican Congress of Digital Graphics] Brasil - Fortaleza 13-16 November 2012, pp. 263-267
summary Pedagogical tradition is to focus its curriculums in studies that encourage the students in mental mechanisms which are favorable to the acquisition of a thought supported in the visual language and in the workshop. Current information technologies have produced a displacement in the ways the young people know, operate and relate to the world. A definitively cognitive shift has been provoked from the traditional written semantic decoding to visual semantic decoding, different operational skills have acquired, and a shift of intersubjetive communications from the personal experiential space to the virtual space.

title Las redes sociales como apoyo a la realización del proyecto arquitectónico en el ámbito universitario [Social network to support the development of the architecture project in the university]
source SIGraDi 2012 [Proceedings of the 16th Iberoamerican Congress of Digital Graphics] Brasil - Fortaleza 13-16 November 2012, pp. 104-108
summary Nowadays, the subject of social networking is closely related to leisure, publicity and marketing. Few people consider them as a tool to support learning. However, with their daily activities online, students are developing, without thinking, skills that we do not directly perceive, such as collaborative work, interest and motivation for research. With the adequate methodology and teacher support, it is possible to guide these skills, innate in students, and get an effective collaborative work in developing the project. Through this research, applied to students of architecture, schemes are proposed to improve the teaching-learning process, and extend beyond the classroom.

title Conversaciones asíncronas en un Taller de Diseño: piloto del estudio de la relación entre presencia docente y presencia cognitiva en la construcción de conocimiento proyectual [Asynchronous conversations in a Design Studio: pilot study of the relation between teaching presence and cognitive presence in knowledge building]
source SIGraDi 2012 [Proceedings of the 16th Iberoamerican Congress of Digital Graphics] Brasil - Fortaleza 13-16 November 2012, pp. 238-242
summary Even though most studio courses, in architecture and design curricula in LA, use web resources, their role in learning is not always fully clear and deeper understanding is required. Due to a prevailing approach based on practical reasoning in the studio, learning is usually assessed by focusing on the representation of the design object, rather than on the cognitive process in design thinking. This research examines online asynchronous communication during a studio project, searching evidence of design knowledge-building through a Community of Inquiry framework. It intends to provide better understanding of how teaching may influence cognitive processes in students.

summary In the field of Contemporary Esthetics is resumed the question of what is art and which are the readability conditions (reading). The questions relate to the displacement between representation and experimentation, beauty and esthetic experience, among others. In this context, we address the technology of poetry (Nancy (2012 [2013]) as technological exhibition that lets your experience the being of the object and become subjects. The corpus includes film and video (Kopystiansky 1996-97; Alys 2011 y Jaar 2013). The objective is to outline an analytical framework for thinking about the esthetic freedom of creation and the practical freedom of their recognition. (Wagner 2004).
