summary	The medium of the computer enables a change in process and input which has the potential to define the concept of architecture and to develop the design methodology in different ways. Last year there was a joint teaching project between SEU in Nanjing and ETH in Zurich, which tried to build proper 3D model in the studio teaching and transfer models between two groups. This joint teaching studio shows the effort made to integrate the computer tool into the studio teaching process and the critic system.
