summary |
Prior research has identified two psychological processes that appear to be used by programmers when they perform design and coding tasks: Taxonomizing-identifying the conditions that evoke particular action, and sequencing- converting the taxa into linear sequence of program code. The article describes an experiment that seeks to provide insight into the relative strength and limitations of three structured tools -- structured english, decision tables and decision trees how they facilitate these two process |
