title |
Optimal LPG Station Layout for Planning Permission Using Expert Systems. |
source |
CHEMECA - 89, pp. 345-352. |
summary |
CADLINE has abstract only. An expert systems approach is adopted to modeling the control regulations governing the siting of LPG stations. Procedural programs are used to estimate risk. Symbolic representation of the regulations allows for more comprehendible checking of proposed layouts. Additional heuristics allow the layout to be modified to reduce defined societal risk. The system is implemented on SUN workstations using the BUILD expert system shell. |
