summary |
This paper presents the results of a digital architectural studio based on the surrealist game Le Cadavre Exquis in which one person began a narrative and others transformed it. Participants played with computer modeling looking at the growth of a story (building form, qualities, colors, etc.) examining how stories are built collectively from individual episodes and how stories translate in the telling or final construct. The project ended in a composition (vertical, horizontal, along a string, or any other way of stringing elements) with tellings and retellings, a network of routes from one beginning to many possible endings. |
