summary |
This paper presents the investigations into the nature of digital materiality by questioning the conventional notions of materiality. A critical framework of relationships between three digital materials (B-Rep Solids, Polynomial Surfaces and Isomorphic Polysurfaces) and three stages of design process (imagination, definition and construction) is proposed. The investigations are presented through exploratory student work. |
