| summary |
The aim of this research is to identify a notation format which is suitable for building an integrated environment with different types of applications for early design stages. Several existing architectural notations are compared in this paper, and VRML is found to be the most appropriate for this purpose, even though it has certain limitations. The problems of using VRML for architectural data notation are addressed in this paper with workable solutions suggested. |
