In the future architects or urban planners will probably ask for architectural models based on CAD-generated model data, in addition to the usual graphical representation. A stereolithography process makes this possible. Currently, at the University of Kaiserslautern there is a research project investigating and evaluating possible applications for this technology in the fields of architecture and town planning. The first results of this research project are described in the following article. |
