summary |
Studio teaching is well established as a process. It is often said that problem-based learning (PBL) is a late extension of our tradition of studio teaching into other disciplines. A re-examination of studio teaching against the practices of problem-based learning however reveals that important opportunities for learning are omitted in the studio setting. |
