Situated design agents require new types of memory. The design of a memory system for use in such a design agent, based on the notion of constructive memory is proposed. The specification of the memory system is derived from the architecture of a situated design agent. Cognitive studies of the human memory system provide the functional and behavioural characterization of the memory system. |
