summary |
A model of situated analogy considered within the context of design is presented. It shows the impact of constructive knowledge representation on analogy making. The importance of a non-fixed but constructive representation is highlighted. It is suggested that a situated model of analogy fits the observed characteristics of design better than a non-situated one. |
