summary |
After more than 30 years of its beginnings, Computer Aided Architectural Design (CAAD) has reached a level of maturity in both education and the profession. However, being a rapidly developing field, CAAD teaching still presents several challenges in terms of integration of theory and design. Thus, this paper discusses:
1. The different views of CAAD teaching between the professionals and academia
2. The integration of CAAD with design teaching.
