This paper presents research in developing materials with integrated pre-stressed textile and rigid composite properties. Such a material system, termed Pre-stressed Textile-Reinforced Composites (pTRC), produces forms with great degrees of both 3-dimensional and structural differentiation, from flat form-work in combination with a curated composite forming process. |
