summary |
Disquiet Objects is an interactive, Mixed Reality (MR) immersive experience. It follows a hybrid design setup that overlays a physical environment (PE) with a virtual environment (VE) and spatial sound. The project takes place in the setting of a domestic apartment where the PE contains an assemblage of objects, overlaid with a VE that has a completely different visual materiality. It posits an enactive framework—a non-goal- oriented, virtual environment—where the user and the environment constitute the system participants, mediated by a technological artifact. |
