People of Color (BIPOC) at ACADIA conferences and within our broader community. Together, we aim to pave the way for aspiring BIPOC computational designers, creating a vibrant pathway to success. Several years ago, ACADIA partnered with the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA) to create engagement opportunities for the communities. Thanks to the efforts of past Presidents Jason Kelly Johnson, Kathy Velikov, and Jenny Sabin, current President Shelby Doyle, ACADIA Board members June Grant and Biayna Bogosian, the ACADIA Diversity Committee, and generous support from Autodesk, ACADIA and Autodesk have supported grants for NOMA students and professionals to attend the annual ACADIA conference and workshops. |
