summary |
This research describes a tool which can be used outdoors instead of a paper medium by a group of people to facilitate city tour guiding or design studies. First, the problems of the device and software which constitute the developed outdoor type MR (Mixed Reality) system were considered. Problems regarding the display, sensor, and composition with video and 3DCG images were clarified. In addition, taking account of the problem that the display is dark outdoors, the luminosity of a number of displays was measured in a dark room and outdoors. In addition to the dark room contrast ratio, the importance of ambient contrast was highlighted through the experiment. |
