This paper seeks to question how the academy should position itself in this changing environment of Building Information Modeling (BIM), providing a critical analysis of how digital design education is taught. The pedagogical goals of the digital communication stream at the University of Arizona will be addressed; in part discussing the implementation of relevant software and techniques in appropriate venues in a specific class, stream and the curriculum as a whole. |
