This paper presents the process and decision of producing software named “Gen_house” that generates high quality sketches of architectural design tasks. The result of a successful project combining research, development and education in both Europe and Asia is achieved in order to ease the practice demand of considering multiple aspects within a design process. The software employs principles and methods of self- organization, agent based solutions and natural sciences, which brings them to the field of architectural design.
