| summary |
This research presents a design process that implements digital methodologies from design concept to the fabrication of smallscale prototypes. The prototypes themselves are user interactive objects employing Nickel Titanium Shape Memory Alloy. At a larger context, this research not only responds to material and fabrication constraints, but addresses the user-to-building interaction; instead of users interacting with a building, the building can now interact with its user by way of transforming its spatial configuration. |
