summary |
This paper shows that computer game technology can generate virtual environments for use as research settings in environment and behaviour research. It illustrates the development of a simulation of a retail shop generated by the game engine Counter-Strike. In addition, this paper suggests methods to interface with this virtual shop. Lastly, it proposes methods to assess the validity of the simulation of this virtual shop |
