The objective of this paper is to provide a way of viewing design knowledge imbedded in the design workflow. By reviewing known design projects, we have observed common occurrences of de- sign patterns in different stages of parametric fac?ade design workflow. We demonstrate the application of parametric design patterns in prac- tices as preliminary studies of forming a pattern language of paramet- ric design. |
