summary |
This paper describes a few questions existing on abstract level, on issues of communication and collaboration in computer aided design. The work is centered around chosen emerging design situations which can be attributed directly to the incorporation of new technologies in traditional creation and practise. One of this is the ,design triangle" composed of a traditional designer, a CAD workstation and a computer literate collaborator acting as the design medium. Another is the ,virtual workshop" consisting of design collaboration involving large-scale distributed communications networks. |
