The methodology of mapping and programming spatial potentials are in need of a new platform – a kind of programming agenda - in order to achieve maximal result which would facilitate developmental goals. Namely, official physical and/or master plans, as well as strategic economic studies lack holistic approach. Economic heritage as a non-material form of heritage encompasses a vast array of forms which may be deeply rooted in a local environment. The emphasis is specifically on such implications and reverse impact on physical planning and strategic economic development related to the potentials of non-material values in the region of Istia in Croatia. |
