summary |
Design tools have been built based on a paradigm that is founded on the notion that the tool is unchanged by its use. Humans build up experience in using tools and adapt their use of a tool based on that experience. The claim is that the tool should also adapt based on its experience of its use. This paper founds the notions of tool adaptation on concepts drawn situated cognition. |
