summary |
Two different surveys were conducted for visual impact assessment (VIA) on urban streetscape namely – the visual perception and visualization tools. The first was focused on the visual perception between designers and nondesigners of the undergraduate students from four different public universities in Malaysia representing landscape architecture and business administration courses whereas the latter concentrated on students with a background of landscape architecture and quantity surveyor to evaluate static and dynamic visualization tools. The paper discussed the findings of the visual perception and visualization tools surveys, and its impact towards improving VIA on urban streetscape. |
