summary |
This report examines the application of physical models and digital ones as tools in the design of reinforced concrete shells. The development of computational processes and consequently the process of analyzing the structure as the finite element method allows more complex forms to be applied in architectural projects. The research demonstrates the potential of this tool, through the analysis of contemporary projects such as the “Memorial da America Latina” of Oscar Niemeyer, with modeling of the structure in ANSYS. |
