The goal of this paper—part of a doctoral dissertation—is to define a complex epistemology of design that uses digital technology by using Edgar Morin’s study of the theory of complexity to illustrate the concepts of principles and complex paradigms in architectonic design. This paper also establishes the position of digital technology as it is strategically applied in design education in the Architectonic Project I Workshop in the FAD LUZ with participation in Las Americas Virtual Design Studio 2009. |
