This paper approaches the dilemma of the technical image as it relates to an understanding of the constructed subject. Proceeding from a condition identified in film and popular culture, the authors construct an investigative, graduate level workshop around a collaborative interface and archive. The project was premised upon the notion that a new ground, based in visualization processes and incorporating existing technologies, must be practically and critically explored to make any sense at all of the subjectivity already coeval with these technologies. |
