This article discusses the relationship between instrumentation for the architectural design, in particular the teaching of drawing, and current conditions of representation, based on digital tools, specially with the use of softwares for Building Information Modeling (BIM). It presents the difficulties of teaching architectural design today and proposes an alternative comprehension of priorities, based on understanding of architectural elements as a reference for learning. After this, it discusses the potential of this technique for teaching construction of a more comprehensive way and presents a multimedia material for developing this task. |
