summary |
BANCAPAR (winner project “Regional Fondart 2013”) is a bench parametrically designed and conceived as an object of public art. It has been initiated from self-management and collaborative design in the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Bío-Bío, Concepcion, Chile. Interdisciplinary work between students and teachers from two Latin American universities, makes this a unique project of technological art in the region. Experience suggests questions at all three levels of the hermeneutic cycle: prefiguration; configuration and reconfiguration when compared to traditional ways of doing and thinking in art and design. |
