summary |
This paper presents and discusses the research, design and construction of the urban furniture "Trançado", permanently located at Largo da Batata, a public space in S?o Paulo, Brazil. The project was accomplished using computational design processes as parametric modeling and digital fabrication of prototypes. Stakeholders from different areas were involved: professionals, organizations and citizens. The article contributes discussing and describing the technical features. Above all, it produces inputs for reflection and progress of the application of computational design in architecture. |
