title The Project of the Future. Computational Design and Project Innovation
source Gomez, P and Braida, F (eds.), Designing Possibilities - Proceedings of the XXV International Conference of the Ibero-American Society of Digital Graphics (SIGraDi 2021), Online, 8 - 12 November 2021, pp. 421–433
summary The article presents and discusses the experience, methodology and results, of a design workshop held at the UNLaM. The proposal found its starting point in the registration of a current situation in which the architectural project is crossed by issues alien to a discipline whose principles are deeply speculative. Retrograde problems product of a conservative historical revival and emerging positions of political correctness trends distorting disciplinary purposes in proposals that have consolidated a desolate, unimaginative and banal disciplinary panorama. The KPY 1139 workshop proposed to return to the sources of a joyfully projective discipline, investigating the bases of the most eloquent projective narrative: science fiction cinema.
