summary |
The ongoing research at the Institute of Architecture and Urbanism of the University of Sao Paulo, with funding from FAPESP in 2023, aimed to contribute to the documentation of the architectural heritage of Sao Carlos, through 3D digital mapping and its application on education, using Virtual Reality. For the heritage documentation, it was used the photogrammetry - SfM (Structure from Motion) method, aero photogrammetry with the aid of drone (DJI Mavic Mini Pro Drone with 48MP camera) and laser scanning (FOCUS s350 Scanner and FOCUS M70 Laser Scanner). For the Virtual Reality experience, it used Oculus Rift S and Oculus Quest 2. The experimental and qualitative methodology was used as a deployment, the data collected were used as base data, allowing multiscale immersion with the use of VR glasses in the creative design process for the building of the Dr. Álvaro Guiao State School. |
