summary |
This study examines the application of virtual reality (VR) in remote education for construction trades, specifically focusing on the development of specialized skills and the ability to interpret blueprints. An experiment was conducted that empirically compared the spatial comprehension and blueprint reading abilities of two groups of workers. These workers used both high-end and low-end VR equipment to visualize construction spaces and blueprints. The findings reveal high levels of spatial comprehension and blueprint interpretation without significant differences between the two types of equipment. Overall, the participants responded positively to the experience. The research concludes that VR may serve as an efficient and accessible tool for training in construction fields, with low-end equipment providing a cost-effective and practical solution. |
