summary |
The emergence of collaborative mapping tools has transformed the representation of the territory today. Therefore, it is necessary to investigate the challenges and potentialities in applying these tools, in particular, the ability to understand and plan the territory associated with official data. This article proposes a review of the use of collaborative mapping applied to public policies for urban mobility. Methodologically, a qualitative-descriptive exploratory approach is adopted, containing the following steps: i) conceptual review and characterization of collaborative mapping tools and their application to the planning of urban mobility policies; ii) case study presentation of the ÔnibusGV application, used in Espírito Santo, Brazil. A result of this work is the discussion around the use of collaborative mapping today, its gaps, and its potential in application to the planning of public policies. The importance of this type of technology and the efforts that have been gradually expanding its scope at the local and international levels is understood. |
