summary |
This paper addresses the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in graphic representation within interior design. Since the launch of ChatGPT in November 2022, there has been a notable proliferation of generative AI tools. The aim is to highlight the possibilities and limitations of using AI in the graphic representation of interior design. From a methodological standpoint, this article results from a literature review and exploratory research involving AI platforms available online. The findings from the literature review and experimentation with the platforms indicate that their use in interior projects is still in its early stages, yet it already demonstrates significant potential, revealing a promising and challenging landscape. These platforms are capable of automating image production, representing a breakthrough at the intersection of art and technology, and can modify, extend, and automate creative processes. |
