summary |
The aim of this research is to develop a device for collecting data to assess the effect of heat islands through mobile monitoring made possible by public vehicles. This research seeks low-cost alternatives for real-time urban climate monitoring. The study was carried out in a municipal district in the city of Florianópolis, Santa Catarina. With an exploratory and empirical nature, the methodology was divided into four stages: (1) development of the prototype; (2) experimental data collection; (3) data processing and analysis. The results indicate that the device proved capable of capturing data during the experimental journey, with the creation of databases for the continuous monitoring of weather phenomena. This study demonstrates the potential of low-cost devices installed in public vehicles to monitor the urban microclimate, providing relevant information for city administration and planning. |
